Pfeiffer Volleyball Downs Division II Shaw University in Five Sets
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 17, 2019) – The Pfeiffer University volleyball team stopped visiting Shaw University in five sets, downing the Division II Bears in Merner Gym on Tuesday evening.

Pfeiffer downed the Bears by winning sets one, three and five to claim their third straight win.
Alonna Clouse (Harrisburg, N.C.) once again led the Falcons with 14 kills while adding nine digs, finishing with a .195 hitting percentage. Teammate Bri Weber (Jesup, Iowa) kept her stellar play going by delivering eight kills. Weber's ace in the fifth set clinched the match for Pfeiffer.
Angelina Fardella (Harrisburg, N.C.) had 27 assists on the night to lead Pfeiffer while teammates
Emma Gray Beacham (Laurinburg, N.C.) and Lili Jaramillo (Oakboro, N.C.) led the black and yellow defensively with 16 and 11 digs, respectively.
Shaw's Tyler Hunter led the Bears with 11 kills while teammate Jailynn Butler had 10 in the loss.
