HIGH POINT, N.C. - The 2011 Conference Carolinas women's soccer tournament begins Monday as Pfeiffer University will travel to in-division rival Mount Olive for a first round matchup with the Trojans on Monday night. The Lady Falcons claim the league's seventh seed while Mount Olive, who finished with the fourth-best record in conference play, receives the #2 seed as the division winner.
Monday will mark the first time in three seasons that Pfeiffer will open up tournament play with someone other than Limestone. The Trojans scored a 2-1 win over the Lady Falcons with a 63rd minute goal at home.
Lees-McRae takes the tournament's top seed after an 11-1 performance during league play. Monday night's winner will move on to face the winner of #6 Queens and #3 Belmont Abbey.
