Misenheimer, N.C. (Feb. 29, 2020) Visiting Lynchburg College scored 13 first half goals en route to an 18-3 win over the Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team on Saturday afternoon at Lefko Field

HOW IT HAPPENED


First Half

Lynchburg opened the scoring less than three minutes in on an Alla Daniel goal.  Pfeiffer responded less than 30 seconds later when Startraya Galloway scored an unassisted goal to tie the game at 1-1.

The visiting Hornets, then reeled off 12 unanswered goals to take the commanding 13-1 lead into halftime.

Second Half
Lynchburg opened the second half with five more goals, extending their lead to 18-1.  Pfeiffer closed the game with the final two goals, the first coming at 20:15 when Kaley Hyatt scored on an assist from Meagan BourqueStarnice Galloway would add the final Falcon goal of the afternoon at 12:35 on an assist from Hailey Metzger.
