Mount Olive pushed the lead to as much as 18 in the first half and took a 33-16 lead into the break.

Pfeiffer refused to give in despite trailing by 22 in the second half and an 11-6 run cut the lead to 54-43 as Dajea Scott finished a layup in the paint with 5:40 to play. However, Pfeiffer couldn't claw any closer as the Trojans collected the pivotal conference victory.
