Falcons Indoor Track Begins 2020 at JDL College Kickoff

Winston-Salem, N.C. – The Pfeiffer men's and women's track and field teams traveled to the JDL Fasttrack to compete in the JDL January College Kickoff Invitational.

Senior Dakota Freeman continued to have strong performances on the track. In the 1000m run, Freeman tied the school record and qualified for the ECAC indoor championships. His time of 2:38.59 was good for a 13th place finish.

Freshman Tasker Brown continued his string of strong performances with his second top-ten finish of the year. Brown ran 52.96 in the 400m dash which was good enough for a 9th place finish.

Junior Keyshawn Campbell made his season debut. Campbell just missed by .07 seconds in the 60m dash running a 7.29.

On the women's side, Tiffany Bartholomew nearly had a personal best in the 60m dash. Bartholomew's time of 8.41 was .03 seconds off of her best time and placed her 7th overall in the 60m dash qualifying round.

The Falcons will have a short turn around as they head to Roanoke College this upcoming Friday and Saturday for the Finn Pincus Invitational.
