    I understand how heartbroken everyone is given the abrupt end to our spring sports season. We recognize the global health pandemic that is upon us and our duty to assist in protecting our community and public health. Thousands of student-athletes across the country felt the decisions made by our institution, the USA South, and the NCAA. Still, it doesn’t mean we can’t hurt together as we adjust to this unexpected time away from teammates, coaches, practice, competition, road trips, and successes yet to be achieved.

    Misenheimer, N.C. (March 13, 2020 ) - Due to the ongoing spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), with the safety and well-being of students and campus communities being paramount, the President’s Council of the USA South Athletic Conference has unanimously decided to cancel all remaining regular season, including non-conference contests, and tournament competition in all sports for all League members, effective Monday, March 16.
