BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Pfeiffer Falcons (4-5, 2-3 CC) snapped a two game losing streak as they traveled to Lees-McRae (1-11, 1-5 CC) on Friday night to defeat the Bobcats 74-65. Meg Pritchard led the way as she scored a game-high 25 points and nine rebounds.
The Falcons jumped out to a four point lead at the end first quarter as they scored 27 points lead by Pritchard who scored the first four of five Falcons buckets, including two three pointers.
Neither team was able to score for over two minutes to start the second quarter but at the 7:51 mark, Dajea Scott started a 6-0 Pfeiffer run with a layup followed by layups from Ariana Tillman and Lauren Janka, but the Bobcats rebounded and started a 14-4 run to get back into the game and cut the score to 36-35.
