Falcons Fall in Three Sets to Emmanuel

MISENHEIMER, NC – The Pfeiffer University men's volleyball team (0-18, 0-17 CC) came up short in its Friday evening contest against Emmanuel (7-19, 5-13), falling in three sets (25-18, 25-16, 25-20) in Merner Gymnasium.

The Falcons were led by senior Evan Blair, who had a team-high eight kills, five digs and a block. Senior Corbin Keller added seven kills and two digs. Sophomore Hunter Gray finished with 22 assists.

Emmanuel logged a .338 kill percentage to 14 errors over the three sets, holding Pfeiffer to .037 while forcing 21 errors. The Lions were paced by Ackeem West, who recorded a game-high 10 kills and two solo blocks.

PFU will wrap up the season and recognize its six seniors on Senior Day when it hosts Erskine on Saturday, April 8 at 2 p.m.
