    Pfeiffer University Athletics and the Falcon Club, Pfeiffer athletics' booster organization, hosted the 2018 Keith Crisco Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, May 14 at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C. The foursome of Poovey, Simmons, Carpenter and Griggs came home with a first-place finish at the tournament on a beautiful May afternoon with a score of 54.

    ERIE, Pa. -- The No. 1 seeded Pfeiffer Falcons (37-5) captured the program's first ECAC Division III Softball Championship on Sunday afternoon with a dominant 8-0 road victory in five innings against Penn St.-Behrend (32-13). The win, coupled with the men's tennis championship yesterday, gives Pfeiffer University two championships in two days.

    MADISON, N.J. -- In just her sixth at-bat of the season, Sydney Bowles hit a walk-off single that scored Bailey Sherrill to send the Falcons (36-5) to a 2-1 victory in the bottom of the seventh against FDU-Florham (19-18) on Wednesday afternoon. The No. 1 seed Falcons advance to the semifinal of the ECAC Tournament and face No. 4 seed Penn St. Behrend at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

    The Pfeiffer softball team has earned the No. 1 seed in the ECAC Division III tournament the league has announced this afternoon. The Falcons (35-5) will travel to Madison, NJ to take on the No. 8 seed Farleigh Dickinson-Florham Devils on Wednesday, with the game time still to be determined.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. – Former Associate Head Coach Pete Schoch has been named the 11th head men’s basketball coach in program history. Schoch spent four seasons on the bench for the Falcons and was promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach last summer.

    Misenheimer, N.C. -- The win streak hit 15 on Wednesday night as the Pfeiffer baseball team (27-7) doubled up the St. Andrews Knights (18-25) 16-8 at Joe Ferebee Field. It was all offense in this one, as the Falcons tallied 14 hits, 5 of which went for extra bases.

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Playing for the first time since March 31, the Pfeiffer softball team (31-5) showed some rust in today's split with Guilford (17-17) at Jack Ingram Field. On the warmest day of the season, the Falcons dropped game one 6-3 but rebounded to take game two, 8-2.
  • Holbrooks Wins Fourth Championship of Season at Piedmont College Spring Invitational

    In her final tournament of her career, senior Meghan Holbrooks capped an excellent career and senior season by winning her fourth championship of the campaign. Holbrooks won by three strokes over second-place finisher Peyton Durham by shooting 161 over the two days. In addition to today's championship, Holbrooks has also won the Converse Fall Invite, Mars Hill Spring Invitational and Pfeiffer Invitational.

  • Garlow Breaks Goals Record as Falcons Overpower Brevard

    MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Dwayne Davis' record of 62 goals in a season had stood since 1992 but senior Blade Garlow put his own name atop the record book with a 9-goal outburst in Pfeiffer's (10-3) 23-13 win on Senior Night over Brevard (9-3). Garlow needed just five goals to break the record but shattered by tying his career high with nine tallies to give him 67 for the year.

    Misenheimer, N.C. -- It was senior day in the Village as the Pfeiffer baseball (25-7) team hosted Brevard (6-26) at Joe Ferebee Field for a double header that would see the Falcons come away victorious in both games. Game one saw Pfeiffer scratch out just enough runs for a 3-2 win, while game two saw them demolish the Tornadoes pitching staff for 15 runs in a rout.

    Misenheimer, N.C. -- It was another great day at Joe Ferebee Field on Sunday as the Pfeiffer baseball team (23-7) swept a double-header against N.C. Wesleyan (19-20). The two wins raise the Falcons win streak to 11 games and completed a three game sweep of the Battling Bishops.
