Pfeiffer Hosts Annual Keith Crisco Memorial Golf Tournament

Pfeiffer University Athletics and the Falcon Club, Pfeiffer athletics' booster organization, hosted the 2018 Keith Crisco Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, May 14 at the Old North State Club in New London, N.C. The foursome of Poovey, Simmons, Carpenter and Griggs came home with a first-place finish at the tournament on a beautiful May afternoon with a score of 54.

Pfeiffer President Dr. Colleen Keith addressed the golfers before sending them off for a shotgun start on Golf Digest's #2 ranked course in all of North Carolina. Old North State is a private country club located along a 2 1/2 mile peninsula on Badin Lake. The course is a par 72 and totals 7,102 yards and has regularly hosted the ACC Championship.

The tournament is named to honor Keith Crisco '64, co-founder of AE Narrow Elastics, North Carolina Secretary of Commerce 2009-13, and former Pfeiffer trustee. This tournament has become a May tradition for Pfeiffer University and is hosted annually.

The top three finishing teams were:
